My engine started knocking upon start and acceleration (2001 type s) Check engine light came on and flashed. Mechanic changed the fuel pump because it was going at a high psi and that took care of the check engine light. He said to replace the spark plugs and coil packs because they were soaked in gas. Does a bad fuel pump cause this? Any feedback would be appreciated. . .Thank you
