If you could do one thing/mod to improve you TL...
...what would it be?
This is my list: 1. Wings West rear spoiler, 2. Comptech Springs, 3. 35% tint on windows.
I don't want to do all at once, for it is just a bit too costly. So I'll probably start with one of the above.
Which would you do first?
2003 TL Type S (Satin Silver) totally stock.
Thanks.

I'm going to have to agree with Eternal, I decided to go with the tint because I'm here in Florida and it is hot as heck! But a few days later that tail was screaming for a WW spoiler so I added it a week later. All in all, I spent $400 for the spoiler, paint, and tint and it is holding me for now. I'm getting my Comptech springs in July though. Cheaper mods first have always worked for me, it appeases me until I can afford the bigger things.

I did rear blinkers first (5 bucks) and then did a 35% tint all around (200). I then got the headers for $400. Next up is either the icebox or springs. Sways might come after that. Wheels should come hopefully sometime next year!

I would do Comptech springs (suspension) first. In fact that is what I did first to my wifes 2003 TL Type S. For all my cars, my first modification/upgrade is always the suspension..
Good luck with whatever you decide..

Is the comptech suspension that good? I',m considering their swaybars to get rid of some of that body roll. This car is big, but hopefully the bars can hide its size. I dont expect it to even resemble a tossable car (its nowhere close), but some of the roll has to go. Also, those damn michelins need to go. those tires have the crappiest ride quality and are also loud. they dojnt even handle that well either.

Well if we're talking one thing in terms of an available mod for the car, it'd be the 3.5L upgrade or the supercharger for me.
BTW-I got sways and coilovers 2 weeks ago and it makes a huge difference in terms of the ride. I can handle the twisties much better than before!!! (Still not on par with a true sports car, but the car definitely has lost the boat feel).

type-S lady, I got the OBXs. So far so good except for the resonance but then again I kinda like it (don't mind it). You can also get stone headers for 400, if they still sell them.
If you have the money CTs are the best but for 1100 I can get OBX headers, CT springs, sways and an CT icebox.
