...repaint your second gen. any other colour, what would it be? It cannot be an Original Acura paint colour -- must be a colour from another car company's line-up (any year, any car). Include any links to the colour - would love to check out everyone's favs.

You can pick any color form any manufacture, so find a car that looks sharp to you and choose that color.

I'm partial to the silvers and metalic dark blues myself. Hummm...Lexus puts a nice blue on their IS300....but I like Acura's ABP better. DOOOH! I can't pick Acura color. Crap!

NBP (i know i know not suposed to be OEM paint but... that's my favorite color!!)

 

I like the Blue that comes on the Lexus GS400/430. It's very close to that of ABP, since I've had the a-spec side by side with one. The difference in colour is very slight, although the ABP does sparkle more than the Lexus. However the blue on the lexus is quite noticeable, but then again so is the ABP.

Don't like the colour on your car??? For a '99-'01 TL ... hmmm ... I do like a few choices. I have a soft spot for blue ... the new G35coupe has one (Athens Blue) is really sharp. Don't know what 'Lakeshore Slate' is ... have to go to an Infiniti dealer to check out their swatch.

Aside: the blue onyx on the Lexus is sharp, too.

streetspirit- owning an autobody shop, i'll tell ya that repainting an entire car is no easy task...sometimes it doesn't come out as good as mfr....and when you open the doors it's gonna be a different color in the door seams, and cracks....unless they remove all the doors and repaint everything....cost ya huge bucks! $$ up until two yrs ago i think we didn't take requests for repaint, cuz of all the hassle.

BUT

I'll be the second (or 3rd?) thread rule breaker and pick my fav (mfr) color....the TL's blue color....Abyss blue pearl?....or is that an 04/05 only color?....the 2002/2003 TL BLUE color. -peace
NOT SURE- i think this is it.

 

How about Ferrari Red? J/K, how about Dodge Viper blue, I've always liked that color.
