I'll be like one of the first in line!
God, it's why I'm not severely mod'ing my current one!

Honestly I won't... I mean the TL is a great car, but it's not that sporty, and nimble. I don't think front heavy, FWD, with 6spd is a good combination. Non the less that it's gonna be an awesome car, but here is what I think.

About 90% of the time I don't wanna bother with the clutch because 99% of the time I am driving on the street and perhaps only 10% of those times I would "want to play" and would like to have a manual tranny.

I can make do with the SS mode most of the time. Now if they are coming out with AWD, around 300hp then I would go with the 6spd for sure. Oh, one that that I must say is that they need a stiffer chasis for extra performance. I mean when I took my TL to the track, I could feel the chasis were going !@#!@#...

Okay, let's face it, you get what you paid for, and we paid about 1/3 of the price of the M5. I think I am pretty happy with my car already...

I believe a recent edition of Motor Trend confirmed the 6 speed for 2002 fall release while the Cl type S 6 speed comes out earlier

I read this too in this month's Motortrend. Fall 2002, right after the CL Type S gets the 6 speed manual.

I am still a fan of Automatic!

But just think what a 6-spd will do to 0-60 times. I would estimate Type-S would go from 6.2 to 6.0, even 5's are a possibility. Sounds all too tempting.
