If I do that a TL-S....

should I mentioned the list of "bugs" when negotiating a price? I have seen you guys mentioned the following:

-Squeaking Passenger Seat
-Sunroof rattle
-Exhaust tip not balanced
-"cracking" sound when opening passenger door
-Rattle in rear of the interior
-Squeaky brake pedal
-Occassional rattle in Dash
-Bumper not matching
-noise from radio due to cell phone interference

I wonder if they dealers here up North are aware of the same issues. Perhaps if I mentioned these I can get a bigger reduction, or some throw ins?

I honestly doubt it...if I were the sales rep and you mentioned all of the problems people are having I would tell you to buy another car. You're obviously there b/c you like the car, and being that you already know the problems that the car has and you are still interested in buying it...I wouldn't budge much. Sorry.

Yeah, they will just tell you that they will fix anything you find wrong with the car. That won't help you in any negotiating.

Some people had had problem & some have not.
When you get your car look at your tail pipes & if they look uneven tell them. The car is under warranty for 4 or more years.
The only problem I see with dealers is if you have to take it back more than once for the same problem.

I agree. It won't do you any good -- they'll just give you a dirty look if they're a sheisty dealership. Even w/ used cars, it's hard to negotiate the price down due to imperfections. Anytime I've ever tried that, they've come back with, "Sir, it's a used car, it's not brand new, there will be things wrong with it. That's why we offer extended warranty packages which I would LOVE to interest you in."

Riiiiiiight, a warranty.

May be newer batches

have taken the imperfections into consideration and some issues have been resolved. I hope that is true cuz it is a nice vehicle, and I am doing research still before making any decisions.
