it looks good

and unless I'm mistaken, there's a cone-shaped filter in the box part

yeah well the ct icebox will need to grow on me, the aem empty look does sucks but sound wise, and the mental kick the aem gave not to mention the vtec roar, is simply grounds for a ct ass beating haha just my opinion

So how does it sound compared to stock? I know the AEM is gonna give a "roar" but with the enclosed box on this intake, is it loud like an AEM?

Thanks.

imo its EXACTLY like stock!!!! with the resonator removed!!! on the type s engines the ct icebox has a built in resonator but i believe it takes out that humm and kills some of that sound, i will try later on to play with it, this damn icebox needs to be louder dammit hahah

Do you notice any performance difference between the icebox and aem (I don't know if you had a cai before)?

not really if anything the aem gives you a mental boost cus the louder sound makes you think its faster too...if you have an aem stick with that

The letters "Comptech Sport" on your IceBox were painted? Or did you do it yourself?

I'm definitely a fan of the AEM intake, the Icebox look/no sound just doesn't do it for me.

but when you buy from this site you have to wait because comptech is back order on the icebox right now. I can't wait like 3 months for it . My friends order like four months ago, and it still not arrive to his house yet. Asiankidd let me know the place you buy the icebox have that in stock. if they have it in stock, please email me at thanh_pham@sbcglobal.net. I am very interest in that. Thanks man
