I wanna kill these people who did this to my car (pics)

This happened at 4am in my driveway. What is shocking is that my neighborhood is pretty quiet and safe. The thieves managed to steal my escort 8500 radar, my watch in the glovebox, and some cd's. Good thing I had an aftermarket alarm and it scared them off before they got into my trunk. The damage is broken glass, ripped seats, and stolen items.

Oh Noooooooooooo!!!!!! I would never think that would happen in your neighborhood . That just sucks Ben....how badly is the seat cut? I'm surprised they even went in there with the alarm going off, what POS'! Good luck with the repairs man.....unbelievable $hit.

I'm sorry to see this happened, these mother$#$^&@'s have no phuckin respect or a conscience do they?

BTW, you didn't have the radar detecter mounted on the open did ya?

Chris,

I did leave my radar detector on my windshield . I always take it off whenever I go to the mall or other places. I just thought that no one would ever steal anything from my driveway, especially when my window is right next to it. As for my passenger seat, the glass ripped the leather as you can see in the 2nd pic. The fools even scratched up my arm rest w/the glass and you can see the Fvckers hand prints on the 2nd pic

Oh Ben Ben Ben! It's all a matter of the rasclot's being at the right place at the right time to happen across something. Unfortunately, they saw the 8500 and you learned the hard way. I wouldn't think it would happen in that area either though..That sucks
It was probably some neighborhood punks, no matter how good a area (even a street with only several cars that drive through at night) your gonna have punka$$ kids in maraudering around at night Looking for nothing better to do.

Did it happen when it was raining, I hope it didn't get too wet.
I have no idea how insurance would repair the leather? Do they replace the whole seat? Or do they simply have a upholstery shop repair that particular section....I could only think it would not match right if done that way

Unfortunately with the economy going down, crime is gonna go up

Sorry bout the bad news. These things can happen anywhere. I got a phone call from a neighbor in the other cul de sac. The people beside him got their pickup truck stolen at 7:00am yesterday morning, right off the driveway while his wife was in the house. We all said tht couldn't happen here...and it did and at the hour no one woulda thought. Some people are waiting to be shot, man.

Hand prints = fingerprints!

Tuff Gong: You can buy just the leather covers for those seats. I don't think they're that expensive.

Yeah, I filed a police report. The thing that sucks is that my items in the car got stolen. I will now have to report it to our home owners insurance co (since the items where stolen from my driveway) which has a high deductible
