I think the TL's have a design flaw

I think the TL's have a design flaw
I'm sure everyone has noticed it, but the rear doors DONT have courtesy lights! now what the hell! we're a luxury car, yet we cant afford two lil wedge bulbs and a cover for our passengers?! Why does an accord have it and the TL doesnt? was there a reason why this occured this way?

eh well...i don't mind; we have those lights up top in the back though...it's a trade off haha

are you speaking of the dome light? lol or the the natural light that comes in from the rear window? what if you're in a parking structure and there is no light in the back!

u can always wire a new set, just get the housing off a wrecked tl or brand new, doubt it cost a lot...

yeah, 3g has a dome light for each set of passengers. actually, one per person unless you are 5 deep.

Just be sure not to wire into the path where the sunroof retracts. That would be a waste of your time!

Funny too, cause the Accords all have rear door courtesy lights. Wonder where they lost that translation into the TL

I also don't understand why the front map lights don't come on when you open the front doors...

You also need to find a spot for the door switch. Or will you wire it to the front door switch?

Rear doors have same swithces, just not looped into a light (think of your dash lights)

I never even noticed that till now. I just went outside and looked at my car. That sucks, just like how the Dome light in the front over the drivers seat and passenger don't turn on only the middle dome light turns on.

the TL is an "entry level" luxury car, not a all out full luxury sedan so dont expect it to have all the same freatures as a lexus, 7 series, or benz

If i wanted to do that, i would have gotten a CL-S 6MT instead of doing a auto to manual for my TL. you must be crazy yo. *throws tomato*

I wouldn't give my ride to anyone either, but doesnt it just make sense to have those two in the back to match? If they could do that to a honda accord, even the LX why cant they do that for a TL? thats nutso!
