I need some help with a tricky decision..

Alright folks so here is the story. I have an 03 tl type s since September of 2012. I had thoughts of doing to 6 speed cl type s swap. I had bought a lot of parts and sold off a few of them. I now have 1/4 of the parts needed to make it happen. I know it's very costly and I am an idiot for selling the parts that I had. I recently drove a friends M3 E46 which was a blast. I am easy to convince on anything and I hate myself for being easily convinced. Now here are my options and I will need a good reasoning from every reply why or why not. Option 1: keep the car get the parts and swap the hell out of it. Option 2: sell the parts, save up, buy the M3 and call it a day, option 3: save up, get the M3, and buy swap parts later. Or possibly option 4: save up, buy an NSX or MKIV Supra, and do the swap later on. Note that the TL has almost 148 thousand miles and me being the second owner starting at 123 thousand miles. Please help

you should keep the TL, do the 6mt swap and keep the car running trouble free until you are ready to make an expensive car purchase.

all those cars you listed are $$ to maintain.
by the uncertainty, I can tell that you cannot afford any of these sports cars....

Yeah keep the TL it's easy to maintain and easy to work on. Not to mention it's gonna be a blast of a daily driver as a 6 speed. Save up and buy the car you really want later. That TL will carry you through the next few years till then easy with a 6mt. Plus you'll make all the rest of us jealous lol.

Option # 4: Just hang on to the TL, save your bucks for awhile and then decide if it's worth the effort
of a 6 speed ....... OR........move on to where your heart and wallet takes ya !!!

Do NOT do the swap. If you have to bother asking if you should do it, you don't have the determination to make it worth it. Financially, it's not worth it if your car is already running fine.

Perhaps OPTION 2 is where ya really feel most comfortable with at this time, IMO.
The tranny....if ya still have it, should be easy to sell and give ya a few bucks toward the car of your dreams.

Yeah it's not worth it. The car runs fine and I will end up selling it in a couple months and buy myself an 07-08 Lexus IS350 instead. Thanks. Check out my thread in the black market. I'm selling the parts that are left
