alrite ive been dying for some new interior lighting. ive been researching and it seems pretty hard??? i read about needing to do soldering??

i went to this website, and so far im really interested in pretty much all the non soldering LEDs, the dome lights, map lights, gauge clusters, and courtesy doors.


1. does anyone have these? how do you like them? are they durable and wont die on me in a few years?
2. should i go with blue or hyperwhite? i want blue but i heard you wont be able to see shit? how is the white?? im not reading in my car or nothing, is the dimness very bad?
3. do you think it would look weird if i mixed and matched? i really want blue on the doors, but maybe hyperwhite on the map lights?? should i just say fuck it and go all blue?
4. please post pictures!!!

 

haha wow this looks REAL good. doesnt look too dim, definately not on par with the stock. but i can see myself driving around with the blue lights on, and trippin my friends out with em haha

Which LED's did you go with-the 6 or 9? Did you have to do any soldering?

 

haha the pics arent mine. they are from the website i posted above. and the ones in the pictures are the ones that require NO SOLDERING

the only LEDs that need soldering are the ones behind the gauges and dash, like the moonroof controls, reset switches, etc.

 

I actually bought a pair of 2 LED 194 bulb lights from ebay. Ill tell you that even though there are only 2 LEDs it is really bright! I actually ordered a blue LED dome light and climate control from ledautomotive.com. Im still waiting for it in the mail. Ill post pics as soon as they arrive.

 

I just ordered WHite maps/domes and Blue doors LED's.......I think its going to
look hot.....I have an 03 AGP T-S ebony interior .....I should be getting the LED's this afternoon I ordered it from E-bay Tec_Toyz......under $32.00 I'm getting 2 blue 9LED Doors, 2 White 9LED Maps and 1 White 6LED Dome. Ill post pictures by the end of this month. Also I am thinking about getting White 9LED's for my license plate....Does anyone have pictures of this???? PM me or post it here I want to see pictures!

I bought the courtesy door LED and the Dome light from LEDautomotive on Sunday, i'll snap some pics and post em in the photo section when i recive them.

 

I went on ebay and bought those 50 LEDs and resisters for about $20 and custom that into my whole dash, cluster, and doors. Saved alot of money but you have to know what you doing.

 

I did my whole thing in hyper white LEDs, but the filters on the buttons and climate control make the light beam out a baby blue, so im still trying to learn how to remove those filters. The best color to go is blue LEDs if you dont want to remove those filters because even if theres the filter there, it will still come out blue.

 

i got my leds dome, door, the whole package non soldering ones off ebay off this same company. the 9 leds, super white, pretty pimp at night, bright as fuck, i get comments bout the doors all the time.

have u seen mine at nite??? all red...of course with the up coming door sills...it should b pretty interesting...all my interior lites r red leds xcept for the lites in the mirror n the gauge cluster....i cant wait to get the door sills in so i can take a pix with all my doors open n glows on...should b pretty tight...

 

yea dude i only saw your exterior LEDs during the meet, my brother was like..."dammnnn" ahah they look sick...havent seen the interiors though

i need blues though cus i dont think red would look good with my car lol

 

i bought hyper white leds for the reverse lights and they look cool but u cant see at all they are not nearly as bright as the stocks they are just better looking

The hyper whites look nice It's got blue/purple tint....Its bright....but not too bright where you cant see out of the window....I drove home from work with the maplights on...no problem at all......other drivers were looking in wondering wtf it was......Looks hot! ONly thing that sucks is I have to manually turn on maplights....When I lock the doors the dome fades out but the maplights stay on if I dont manually turn them off.....sucks! So the only LED light I have is the dome which is a 6LED which isnt bright.....Most cars maplights front lights dim and turn off, why doesnt the TL's???

 

get varad leds...thats what i have...bright...as...fuck...

 

9-led blue in the doors and 9-led superwhites in the maps and 6-led superwhites in the dome. hella tight!
