Angry I hate PIAA foglights

I was cleaning my car and i noticed that one of my PIAA fogs had moisture inside them. I looked more closely and I see these black spots around the bulb. I took it apart to dry the moisture and the mirror is peeling off! I could see right through some spots of the mirror! This is my 2nd set of PIAAs that have gotten messed up from moisture and its definetly the last set. I have PIAA 1200's in Ion Yellow BTW.

Go to the website piaa.com and check out their waranty. You might be able to get a new set and sell them on Ebay and then cop some Catz

I also have problems with my PIAA fogs. I used to have 2 sets of the 1700x fogs and they both burned out on me in six months. They also got moisture in it like yours too. So I bought their new series, the Solitaire. I have them on for like three months now with no problems. But it is still early so knock on wood.

Really?

I haven't had any problems with my 1700x. But then it's been less than half a year. I'll wait and see.

Thats what I thought. The first time it happened to me I thought maybe I got a one in a million set of messed up fogs but 2 times is enough for me. No more PIAA's. I spent $400 on them so far.

I've had 1700x PIAA's on my 1st gen CL for over a year now and they are still great..

I don't use them every night though, so that might be it..

My 1700xs lasted a little over half a year. Not worth it imo...time to invest some time to look for a better brand.

ive had piaas on my toyota for almost 2 years. theyve been through 2 canadian winters. no problems at all

piaa offers a very good warranty. you can get pretty much anything replaced for free as long as you have the bill

i used to have some on my tl, the lens started peeling off. they sent me a new one, no questions asked.
