Final negociated Price before tax title licence: $33,600

1) Base TL-S (No Navi) 31,710
2) Spoiler
3) Underbody Kit
4) Tint
5) Wheel Locks
6) Touch-Up paint
7) Acura Extended Warranty (7yr/100,000Miles)
8) Extra Key (3 masters (2 with alarm fobs), 1 valet)

I think I got a great deal. They also gave me $7000 for my 94' Integra LS. It's the tax title license that kills ya

I love the Car though...

My impressions of the car:

1) Great power
2) Smooth ride, even though 17" rims
3) Good Handling: Responsive and feels like my Integra
4) Does not feel big at all...drives like a smaller car
5) Love the bells and whistles that come with it for the price: Similar car at BMW would be into $40s
6) Love the smell of Acura's...the smell of BMW,Infiniti, Mercedes makes me sick because of the strong leather smell...the Acura leather isn't strong at all, just smells clean and new
7) Love the memory seats and the remots that link to the memory seats

I really recommend the car myself. The sales people at Bell Acura in Phoenix Arizona are very helpful and top notch. There to sell a car and make you happy with a great price. I think the key to getting a good price on the car is to talk down the accessories. Look at all the stuff I got for less than $2000 more...if bought separately, they would have raked me over the coals (the warranty itself is over $1500, the under body spoiler over $1400...the list goes on)

I recommend the car.

Mr. T, didn't you see post #1? It states that I got a final price of $33,600 BEFORE tax, title, license. That included all of the items listed. Let me know if you have any questions. good luck on your car

Sorry,
What I meant was I need you to post the sales purchase order up so I can make a copy and bring it to the dealer. They are not even willing to budge off the MSRP and they want to sell me the options at cost.

Another test driver described the ride as follows:

"...Also, the suspension appeared to be pretty stiff and I felt EVERY friggin crack, pot-hole, etc. of the pathetic Motor City Roads. It was VERY uncomfortable (may not be as bad on asphalt covered freeways as in L.A."

Some other test driver will say something else....basically you will have to drive it yourself and decide for yourself...and while you are at it, also drive a Sport edition of the BMW 330i along the same rough roads and let us know your thoughts on it...

Snook: There is a full body kit available for the 2002 TLs. It includes sides as weel as back and front. It looks sweet. If I can get a hold of a digital camera, i will be sure to post.

Hey, JTang, I just picked up my TL-S yesterday, and am going back on Friday to get the body kit installed. Am I correct in reading that they have a new kit (front anyway) for the TL-S? I was just going to put on the dies and back like on Snooks, but if there is a front peice, maybe...
What's it like, compared to the peice from last year? Last years seemed and looked like an add on, where the dies and back looked good. Does the front piece look vetter for the Type S?
Any way you can get a picture on board?

SonyMan: To be quite honest, I don't really know how it looked in prior years. I think it looks good. If you take note of the small openings bellow the fogs, the new front piece includes those. Therefore, the body kit goes right under the fogs, includes thos holes, and I think integrates quite well. My only complaint is that in the rear, it seems kind of flimsy with the extra overhang.

I also noticed that at the dealership I got mine at, I think they are assuming that most people with the Type S will be getting a kit of some sort. They put a kit on the demo as well as the other Type-S so I saw what the kit would look like on black and on WDP.

Hope that helps. Again, I wish I had a camera. When I do get picks, I will be sure to post
