sad day ....i parked my car at a shopping center....1 hour later i came back and i notice my car got hit....it was a truck....it backed into my rear bumper.....it left a hole in the bumber and a big dent .....i was wondering how much will it cost to fix it.....like if i get a new bumber and get the bumper painted

 

did they leave a note? probably not fvcking people these days...

new bumper is probably gonna run over a grand maybe 1500...if its got a hole i dont think insurance or shop is gonna want to repair it as it is most likely cheaper (financially more sound) to replace.

I got hit on the front bumper only a few weeks ago. Similar big hole. Just got the car back from the shop after repair. They had to replace the bumper, paint the new one and replace some headlight fittings. In all it cost $986 from an Acura certified repair shop.
Im not an expert, but I think rear bumper should be cheaper.

dam!!! for a bumper ....oh mannn....how was the paint job....was it as good as factory ?

i also have the oem kit on my car and that got scraped up too.

 

I got backed up into in my high school parking lot, stupid drivers!! I was pretty mad, they got the drivers door and front fender. Everything will cost 2200 dollars, her insurance is paying for everything. This sucks for her because it was less than a 5mph hit.

 

i got back into at the mall also.. left me with a crack in the bumper and a lil dent. Got it back to normal for 280.00.

 

I was rear ended in my 2001 3.2TL March 2001 - car had only 3500 miles on it - the lady who hit me paid the repair biil. It was $580 US. The rear bumper was ~$280 plus painting - the bumpers do not come prepainted - and installation.

 

Yep,
Bumper looked as good as new after the repair. Infact I was very pleased with the result and the people at the shop were great!
