After much searching to find clear glass corner bulbs (wanted a uniform look for the cleared h'lamps), I finally found Raybrigs 1157's and 168's on the net, and installed them. While they threw off much more light than the socks, they're still the same dull yellow color that isn't even close to our beautiful hid white. So, it looks like I'll be giving in to the blue glass hyper whites by PIAA or Polarg.

hahahah, sorry about that TLunatic.. i just saved myself the trouble of even looking. i heard bebber is trying to paint his bulbs. maybe that will work....i doubt it. after a while.. you get use to the blue bulb. atleast its a pretty close match.

Am I missing something here? How the heck can anyone see when you signal a lane change when your side lights are clear?

well.. this is my guess. if you are expecting someone to see you signaling from the side... YOU ARE NOT FAR ENOUGH AHEAD OF HIM. he should be seeing your taillight signal rather than your front. and if you're trying to change lanes behind him.. i would think a blinking light is adequate enough to let him know you are changing lanes. i haven't had any problems with people not knowing im going to change lanes... besides.. i only signal when im going to cut someone off. and only change lanes after im sure i blew past them.. not when they are on the side of me.. where i hope my signalling will get them to slow down to i can cut them off.

...I only cut someone off when I don't signal him. I always thought that's what cutting someone off meant!

my definition of cutting off is .. when i cut in front of them. there is less than a foot between my back bumper and their front. i dont want to be too rude when i cut them off.. so i give a little signal. that way they wont freak out.

i don't know where i saw it but i remember seeing a colored light bulbs with silver transparent coating over it... so the color doesn't show through the clear turn signal lens.... i meant you won't be able to see the color of the lights until it's on or blinking...

i found that website on yahoo.... i think i put "hid bulbs" as search criteria...

i don't know if this helps but hope you find what you're looking for.

the blue lights look sweet....it makes it look good in a different way.
