I was forced to beat up a CRV

As I know, there is an unspoken respect level among HONDA drivers. We know what about our cars and what they can do. So no point in trying to impress each other and wasting time, right?

Well coming home, this “mom” was trying to impress me with her new CRV. We were at the red light. I moved away at my usual speed which was faster than the CRV. Then all of the sudden she comes up behind me and then passes me as if trying to show off. I said to myself you got to be kidding me? Well, I pressed my gas pedal just a bit more just to blow by her. I can see she was trying to catch up, but to no avail.

I really didn’t want to do it, but she was asking for it. CRV is a good car, but it isn’t a sports sedan.

since it's a "mom", you think she knows the difference between her CRV and your TL? and maybe how many hp you have stock? No... a car is a car, doesn't matter if it's a truck, a van, a sedan, a coupe, something big with metal body that has 4 wheels and some lights which move, it's a car...

o and yeah, I'm in med school, I have some scholarship, I also tutor math for SAT/ACT/GRE/GMAT students, and I work in cardiology department of a hospital in the cardiac monitoring/ekg services. I'm paying for the car myself, financing it. Just because someone can't afford a 50 thousand dollar car at the age of 20, doesn't mean nobody else can.
