I finally got my TL!!!!!!
Hi everyone!
I finally got my TL-S with navigation. Nighthawk black with Ebony.
This is my first car and I'm glad I decided to go with a TL instead of an overpriced BMW.
Can't wait to drive it home....work is too long!

Enjoy it!
Congrats and good luck! I've had my ABP TLS for almost three weeks and 900 miles and I love it! Only complaint I have so far is a sunroof squeak which I hope the dealer can look into when I take my car in for its first service. The car is awesome and I am definitely enjoying it!
PS - Take it easy for the first 600 miles (I had a hard time doing this) just to be safe. And as much as I enjoy reading this site it has made me a bit paranoid so my advice is take everything you read here with a grain of salt. Just enjoy the car! Sometimes stuff happens.

Smooth, I assume you are from NYC, what part? I will be in NYC this weekend with my 2003 TLS so if you see a latin brova in a ABP just wave!
I haven't WOT from a stop so I am not sure. I usually like to start slow for a second and then push the car (not WOT) and this usually gets the car going. My car shifts quickly from 1 to 2 (even in SS) and then I just hold it till about 4000-5000 RPMS. Like I said, I haven't floored it yet nor have I gotten near redline (only about 5800 RPMS so far). I love this baby and I really hope I don't join the infamous DTC (dead tranny club). I feel for my brovas!

Fellow Houston TLer here. Congrats on the NBP! We have a NBP with parchment. Have had it since July....still things that are disappointing about it.....loud creaks, fragile paint...but overall we love the car.
Maybe we'll see ya on the road
