I am ever soOoOo happy!!!

My Dual GReddy Evos finally came in after being on backorder for more than a month and a half. I got it installed today and man I like the semi-deep tone it has when its in low RPM's (1K-2.5K-ish). The tips are stick in a bit but I how it looks anyway. I also like how it sounded like when I first start the car. Now it sounds like my car comes to life :wow: . In the highway, its not really all that loud to me, even tho I have an Injen CAI too at high RPM. I also like how GReddy lets you chose whether you want dual or single muffler on your ride even tho I don't think I would go single but nice option.

Hopefully I can get off my lazy butt and take some pics. If not you can prob. see me crusin' round the Bay Area but mainly Frisco.

P.s. I wonder how many TL'ers have GReddys on besides me. I only seen one other person that has GReddy Evos, and it was a ABP CL-S in Frisco.

If I'm not mistaken, I think AC has dual GReddy SP's on his TL...

Hey Evo, what modifications did you have to do to get it put on? And is your exhaust louder from the outside versus inside? And is it loud on high RPM's? Right now I have Kakimotos (similiar to Comptechs) and it was too quiet for me. I removed the resonators and now it's too loud from the inside and still not that loud from the outside. And at high RPM's, I still don't hear my exhaust(due to design that was supposed to be made to be quiet) In other words....I'm unsatisfied with my exhaust and I want to change to the Greddys. And one last thing, the Y-pipe that came with your exhaust......did it have two resonators on it? I need someone to convince me to get these.

Well, I had to do some of a mod. to install the Evos. One was the cat flange prob. So the shop had to make the holes bigger on the GReddy pipe to fit the bolts on the cat. Second, the Evos I ordered were for an Accord V6 and the piping had to be extended bout 2 inches or so cause the TL is a bit longer on the first pipe after the cat. Of course I had to go to my muffler shop to this tho. If I had known earlier I would have ordered the Evos for the CL-S, now that would be a straight bolt on cause the CL-S is basically a 2dr version of the TL. O well, it's kewl tho.

I haven't done any real driving to test the sound of the mufflers cause I am stuck at home today and the city has chosen to re-pavement the road on my block so I can't get out until the pavement has hardened. =( Hopefully I have time later on in the week to test out the tones from the inside verus the outside of the car. I will also try the loudness from using only one muffler verus the dual muffler just for fun.
