I dropped by the SoCal meet and I left early due to the in-laws coming over to my place. On my way home, I decided to cross the double yellow lines and go into the carpool lane. This is what i said to my wife... "there are no cops, don't worry." about 20 seconds later, I saw a cop barely visible on my rearview mirror. The cop goes into the carpool lane and starts to tailgate me. I figured he wanted to go ahead. I changed lanes to let him pass and he follow right behind me. He follows me for good 10 seconds and turns on his lights.... I immediately pull over and this is the conversation we had....

Cop : Do you know why i pulled you over?
Me : I think so.
Cop : License and Registration Plz...

He looks over my shit... and then

Cop : Andrew, how many tickets have you had???
Me : This will be my first one.
Cop : I'm gonna let you go this time..
Me : (Shocked) Thank you!!!!

Cop drives off and the wife smacks me... -_-

Here is the lesson learned.. Don't do it again.... I'm feeling pretty damn lucky today
