whoa feels weird havin a 3rd gen forum now
anyhow i debadged my "A C U R A" & "3.2TL" decals 2day, i warmed them up for like 1min each with a blow dryer lol and than used dental floss to pull em off, it was so easy but it left all that stick crap behind, i struggled removing it and gave up, came online and read that some of u used goo gone, i bought goof off(same stuff) and it worked! look awesome now

prior to debadging i remember the emblems roughing my sponge up after i used the goof gone crap i felt dirty so i washed the car as well and it felt so diff having the sponge go rite across where the A C U R A was, felt awesome, so smooth and nice, can really clean the area above the tail lite now where 3.2tl was, and i got some double sided tape and put the 3.2tl emblem on my tray above my deck, the pop out tray, looks real nice. now i wanna do the mesh grill, can somebody tell me how to do it on my '02 tl, spec on the mesh size, exactly what i gotta do n all, THANX! after i do the grill ill get some pics up of my ride.

Can't post my pic (no scanner) BUT go to
www.streetcreations.net under "members" Click on "Frank"
Check it out... let me know what you think
I would say to anyone with a TL (any gen) to debadge the rear completely for a smooth, clean look.

How much? I took mine off, but it's just a 3.2TL, not a Type-S. PM me.

Goo Gone works great, causes no problems. My question is why take off the A C U R A? The car looks SO MUCH BETTER with it.
My GF wanted to debadge her Civic EX so this is what we did. It is extremely easy, and DID NOT harm the paint in any way.
Here's how to do it.
1. Open trunk and put a cloth or towel under the trunk area, then close it to prevent dripping.
2. Soak the badge well with "Goo Gone" on top and within the letters.
3. Let it soak for a few minutes.
4. Using fishing line, roll up the fishing line so that u have a good grip on the fishing line and start from either the left or the right side of the badge and go inward slowly moving the line up and down. it will make some noises, but it's normal.
5. After cutting thru the glue/adhesive the badge will pop off.
6. Squeeze more GooGone Spray Gell on the area where the adhesive still lays. Let it soak for a few minutes.
7. With your fingernail, gently scrape the rest of the adhesive off.
8.Wipe dry and you are done!
9. If you like, wash it, then clean it with a "cleaner wax" and follow up with a good coat of wax.
Good Luck.
