I took by car for a car wash today. They were in a big hurry since they were busy and it sucked and I had to finish it at home. I cleaned it and got really bored so I waxed and detailed the whole thing, in and out.

I was still bored so I removed the ACURA and 3.2TL from the trunk. It was REALLY easy to do! I was worried that it would be discolored underneath, but it wasn't at all! I used some scratch remover to get all the sticky stuff off and waxed it 3 times. It looks GREAT!

I was planning on washing my car too but it is going to rain next week. So screw it. My car is so drity now. Good thing I got gun metal gray rims. My rims don't look dirty at all.

 

doesn't the trunk lid look sort of barren without the lettering on it?

I think it looks much "cleaner". I'm not after a car that really stands out, but I want it to look slightly different than the 100's of 99-01 TL's that are around my city.

 

Yeah, I debadged my trunk too. Looks much better IMHO
