I am SICK of the Eaglite Plasma foglight bulbs burning out...

Within a couple of months, the right one burned out. Good thing I bought two pairs when I got 'em. Now the left one is burned out. I have one left, so it's no problem, but next time it goes out again, I don't want to keep using the Eaglites. They burn out too easily. FYI, I have the 55-watt version.

I might have to do the HID conversion for the foglights and be done with it.

Haha.. I learned the hard way with my previous Accord... and thas why I just invested in the HID. Well worth the investment. Or you can get the LED bulbs from hcchon, but they wont match your HID's.

hchhon's led bulbs for fogs aren't for practical driving..just invest on a HID kit for your fogs Adrenaline. You won't regret it...

Good CHOICE!! Trust me.. the amount of road that I light up at night time is insane!! I mean I get people purposefully driving next to me cuz they can see better due to my lighting. I light up my lane and the two lanes on each side of me... its great, as soon as I flip that fog switch on.. I can feel the strain in my eyes just go away.. literally no joke!

What kind of setup do you have, Desi, and how much did it cost?

Did you install it yourself?

I can do just about any mechanical work on my car, but I've never messed around with electrical stuff... I'm dumb as a brick when it comes electrical parts.

Basically it is just plug and play with that hid 9006 kit. You just basically hook it up to the original 9006 harness for the bulb.

Be sure to remove oils and such from these bulbs before installing as mine came from the factory 'filthy'. Very important to improve bulb life.

Any oil free soft cloth should work. I used lens cleaning paper.

I'm with you. I've tried tons of bulbs from 80W to 55W & superwhites to golds. At this point, I just switched to OEMs because I'm tired of replacing the bulbs so often. Now I know...unless you plan on getting an HID kit, the foglight bulb mod is NOT worth it.

P.S.
I do however have superwhite 100W highbeams. Since that is RARELY used, they haev lasted me more than 2 years now. :p

i have 6000K low beams and hcchon's led bulbs... they match perfectly, although the led's dont light up much. i dont really need the fogs so they work jsut fine for me.
