Does anyone know if the HVAC Controls in the 03 TL non-Navi be relocated? I never took that part off yet so I don't know how it looks behind there. Anyone with pictures or maybe helm manual scans?

I'm planning on doing the same thing. I got the idea from a TL or CL where they moved all the HVAC controls to the top-half area of the stock radio and tray thing. They had an aftermarket single-DIN radio below the new HVAC location (at the bottom half of the old stock radio location).

They flush mounted a large screen in the old HVAC location. Looked somewhat similar to the stock TL Navi system, except with the larger HVAC controls below the screen location.

It looked pretty tight. I'm looking for a stock Navi dash trim panel so I don't have to hack up my existing one. I'll post the pic once I find it.

 

Do you know how it looks back there? How easy is it to move the parts down?

 

I think there are 2-3 plugs at the back of the HVAC. If you extend the wires from the harness you can pretty much place it anywhere
