Hows your tranny?
Mines not doing so well. My TL is going under the knife monday morning for a brand new tranny. The damn thing is slipping at 36K miles. Is it mostly us '99 guys that are having problems?
So since I am only going to have this tranny for 3 more days, what should I do? a few nice neutral slams?
I've always wanted to try that. Of couse I do have to be able to drive to the dealership monday.

No, don't do neutral slams on the TL, it's bad for other stuff too, motor mounts, CV joints, all the other shiney stuff under the hood... 
Do neutral slams on the 1998 loaner Integra they give you, or if it's manual, turn over a new leaf and decide not to use the clutch, just floor it and slam it into gear.

My '99 is just fine.. I never drive the tranny like mad...only in my 5 speed Miata ..

Oh, regarding your actual question. I think it would be a very good idea to at least switch to synthetic tranny fluid.
I would also advise a tranny cooler....how big is the stock one? Just a coil or two out of the radiator? A tranny cooler is about $50, plus some hose, and an hour or two of work, or a $1500 tranny rebuild.......which is cheaper? I can't remember any math, I've had too much Calculus.

I was pretty damn hard on my trans, no joke. But I was just as hard on my 97 TL and I never had a single problem. I think once I get this new one, im gonna settle down a little.
The last Teg they gave me didnt even have a radio! LOL My buddy is getting a used '98 4 door teg tomorrow morning, so maybe will have a little teg race monday.

Engine revs up, but gear doesnt engage for a sec, which causes a nasty jerk. Very anonying...

Yeah, I just told them that my trans is slipping and is becoming very jerky and they took a look and put me down for a new one. On Acura of course. My dealer is pretty nice, they dont ever give me a problem with anything. I actually taked with them about my site, and he went back and got me the new comptech catalog. The only thing that sucks is that they give you the crappyiest little integra to drive around.
