How wide of a tire on a 17x7.5" rim?

How wide of a tire on a 17x7.5" rim?
I've got 225/45/17's on my rim right now, but I'm wondering how wide I can go?
The 225/45/17's are -2.7% different in circumference than stock.
245/45/17's match the stock 205/60/16's circumference perfectly, and they'd prolly look awesome, but would they fit on a '99TL?

I had 245/45/17 on 6 1/2 inch rims so I'd say yes they would defiantely fit on 17x7.5. No problems with the wheel well on my stock TLS.
One thing though, the sidewall of a 245/45/17 will depend a lot on the manufacturer and the width of the rim you are mounted on. If in doubt, check the specific tire you are looking at on www.tirerack.com for specs.
