My daily driver taken with my Motorola Atrix 2.
The Motorola Atrix 2 has a 35mm lens with an F2.4 aperture and the flash is so so, also has all the features that a Dslr has but doesn`t have the lens or speed light.
My camera bag.
~Canon 450d
~18-55 kit lens
~50mm F1.8
~17-85 all purpose
~Tamron 35-200 telephoto
~Bower 2x teleconverter
~UV filter
~Mini tri pod
Just need a speedlight and a light diffuser to complete my set up.
Note: The kit lens (normally 18-55) that come with Dslrs` these days are very respectable entry level lens. Start with that and then figure out where you want to go next. If you have the bucks there are some very nice setups out there Sony a-series, Nikon or Canon.

^^Picture isnt visible...
And I share your pain.. That speedlights are needed when you need it the most... Stupid integrated flash cant reach anything beyond 3-4 meters.

Will repost. Yes a speedlight is ultra necessary especially in low light situations. But a very nice lens for example a canon 17-40 f2.8 will let in plenty of light but for 900.00usd you can get a speedlight to pair with kit lens.

My previous post was for all people who post there pics.
Post your pic and tell us how you took that picture.
For example: taken with motorola atrix 2 or taken with canon 450d with the 17-85 or professionally shot.
Leave a caption....

Depends on your budget, Nikon has a great Lineup of DSLR for DX format. Go to BESTBUY and try the cameras! They always lend it so you can test it in site...
All "BestBuy" prices, You can get cheaper/same better warranty at Adorama, Ebay and other Online sellers.
(Entry Level)
D3100 (450bucks w/lens)
D3200 (Updated 24mp CMOS 550bucks w/lens)
D5000 (Outdated but still sold 500 bucks w/lens)
(Mid Range)
D5100* (600 bucks w/lens)
D5200 (Updated 24mp CMOS 800 bucks w/lens)
D90 (I wont recommend it, Outdated hardware in All specs)
(Top of the Line)
D7000* (1K w/lens)
D7100 (1.5K w/lens)
Explained =
The D3100 and D3200 had the Slowest shutter and outdated AF system from all the lineup.. The D32 is a nice upgrade to 24mp but still have a somewhat lacking AF system to the standards of DX format.
The D5100 (I'm biased) uses the Same CMOS as the D7000 so you can expect same Quality in its pictures.. What the D51 lacked was the D7K awesome AF system (It had a Stripped down version) and faster shutter speeds which you can compensate with a Really fast Prime lens.
The D5200 Uses the newer 24mp standard CMOS and upgraded AF system to the D7K Specs
The D7000 (D7K) considered the KING of DX format has the fastest shutter and the fanciest AF system Logic (Now the D71 has it).
The D7100 upgraded its Shutter Speed and AF Logic into a newer 24mp CMOS..
All in all You can be happy with either Nikon DX.. You only need to understand the limitations of the Camera you are Buying.
Hope that Helps.

nope... zero photoshop was done.. if i did... i most likely woulda went crazy on the healing brush to rid of all the spots on the windows and so forth..
close and half the answer. lol
i used the LED light off my old HTC Incredible and did some painting. you could even use one strobe/speedlight to paint a whole car for a night shot.
look it up!

An 16gb sd card compared to a 16gb compact flash card, the compact flash will beat it everyday for quality and speed.
But, a 10.00 card or 20.00 card for beginners is better than adequate.
Not everyone shoots with a mark iv.

Nope he mentions the Buffering when shooting in Continuous (Sports Mode).. There is a HUGE Difference between the SD4 vs. a SD10 and so fort..
My 32GB SD Class 4 only allows me to shoot 7 frames before entering Buffering mode < Most Newer DSLRs would not be happy with a class 4 card... A Class 6 would be more adequate.
My 64GB SD Class 10 allows me up to 18 frames before buffering < This is like almost the Standard for DSLRs.
For the Mark IV I would rather use a U1 for almost limitless frames.
Class 4 = 4MB/s
Class 6 = 6MB/s
Class 10 = 10MB/s
UHS 1 = 10MB/s Realtime
My D5100 takes pics in RAW at max Resolution around 17-22MB per pic
Also the times for reviewing images is very different between classes.. My SD10 will almost immediately allow me to zoom in to the review while my Class 4 needs a little bit of time to save the image and let me fully review it.

Turn Your Flash Off.
Seen a lot of pictures that are ruined because of the flash bringing unnatural light to a phot when there was plenty of light to begin with.
Assess your shot first by turning off the flash and if the light just isn't there try taking the picture with the flash on.
Also applies to pictures taken with loved ones or friends, the flash turned off might not make them look like vampires, and leave you with a picture you can be satisfied with.
Note: Also applies to outdoor pictures, lights at night are either high pressure sodium(yellowish) or metal halide(more clear). Can make a picture look really bad when you mix your flash with these lights.
