I have a 2003 Acura TL and want to work on it myself. What is the best book or manual that I can buy that will be the most detailed. I bought a Haynes but looking for something more, Thanks!

our DIY section covers most every maitenance and mod you can do, short of full engine overhaul or trans rebuild

Seafoam is awesome to restore full flow thru fuel system, clean carbon from pistons, valves and oil passages = real tune up in a can
use honda DW1 atf
Honda ps fluid
brake fluid DOT4
coolant honda or approved for honda

you are due for the egr port and passage cleaning diy- not found in any repair book or schedule

I just went to the thread but didn't see what I was looking for. I am going to replace my thermostat and know where it is but just wanted to see a step by step of the easiest way to get to it, what all I need to remove. I am pretty mechanically inclined but learned a long time ago to do a little research rather than just dive in and hope for the best, thanks!

If you didn't find anything in the search function of the forum then you can always go to google and search "acura tl service manual." There's always a link to a copy of one, and it's really comprehensive... apart from the forum

I actually found one at helminc.com. but not here yet. I successfully replaced my thermostat and then discovered one of my cooling fans isn't working. I can't wait to get my manual.
