Question How to replace front corners?

I'm trying to replace the amber bulb up front with a PIAA Xtreme White Bulb. Does anyone know how to replace it? I searched, but no luck. TypeSDragon said he has done it. I don't have the manual someone has mentioned that tells how to do that stuff. I have a TLS. Also, if anyone knows how to find state laws on what bulbs have to be what color, it would help. Thanks.

Thumbs up

Hey man, the instructions are in the manual but since you don't have it, this is what you need to do:

-Remove the 3 screws (clips) within the wheelwell.

-Gentle pull the wheel well plastic out toward you.

-Then reach in with your hand and turn the bulb counter clockwise. (Trust me you will get mud all over your hands)

-I believe the bulb type is 1157 and I used Polarg M14 bulbs in there.

- If you need more instructions, I will post pics for ya...

Under?? No wonder I couldn't find how to get in. My Accord was obvious. I was looking under that plastic cover that goes across the front of our radiator'grill... very tight in there. No wonder we have to go underneath. Be back in a few minutes... might go try that right now... barely enough sunlight, though.

Just got done installing the PIAA Xtreme superwhite. Took all of... 20 minutes (I took it slow with the first light, on the passenger side). You were right about getting dirty! I'm glad I clipped my fingernails today.
Anyway, it looks nice. They don't quite match the HIDs, or my PIAA Platinum SuperWhite fogs, but they shouldn't be on too often, right. I'm keeping the originals in the trunk in case a cop hassels me, so I can say "I just put them on, officer". Also in my trunk is my license plate, screws, and my 10mm (Socket, not gun. That is a .44mag), so I can install real quick. Anyone been hassled from having white corners? I still have the amber strip underneath on the corner driving light.
Oh, the purple dome light looks cool, too. Basically a black light. I hope it's not too tacky.

Well, not on my TL-S (but thinking about it--clear bulbs instead of amber, that is) but I do have clear corner markers and clear corner and front turn signal bulbs on my Tahoe. IOW, no amber anything up front. Anyways, I haven't been pulled over yet...

Wink

SimTypeS, glad that you can get your bulbs installed. When I signal my corners the generate a white light. But actually they are blue bulbs. I had them on for a while already at least 2 months and haven't really had any problems.

I have the purple (black light) bulbs on my Land Cruiser. I have it on the reverse lights. Looks really cool...I like the color. But I think it looks cool only for the backup light..not used to much. Anywhere else might look a little tacky
