Question How much are you paying for TL-S

There are several who have ordered TL-S. How much are you paying for them? Did you talk price with the dealer before you ordered or are you waiting until the car comes in?
Im interested in getting one but I dont want to pay too-much for it because the demand is high!
Thanks

Dealer has quoted me $32,560 including freight for the Nav. TL-S.
We haven't negotiated yet, and I really am not expecting much off that price.
Doesn't matter to me though, as I think it will be worth it hands down!

My dealer didn't know the MSRP when I put down my deposit on the '02 TL-S. I made the deal at "no more than MSRP" with the dealer. I am expecting to pay MSRP, but if the demand is not as high as anticipated, I will be able to negotiate a lower price.

My dealer "verbally" said they would take $880.00 off sticker and "help" with the rear spoiler.

Question

jhalderman, how did you arrive at the $880 off of sticker amount? If the actual TL-S looks anything like the AutoWeek photo, I think a rear spoiler will be a nice addition. Does your dealer expect a rather low demand for the TL-S? Seems like a good deal to me--but, a "verbal" agreement is as good as the paper it is written on, if you know what I mean.

Do you mean that they'll include the spoiler or discount it?

I put a $1,000.00 deposit down on a 2001 TL on August 25. At that time the 2001 prices were not out yet and they told me they would match the $880 discount that a dealer in Cincinnati wrote (autobytel dealer) that they would discount. ( 30,880 w/nav minus the 880 = 30,000 plus tax). They also told me that they discount the rear wing too if I wanted that. I couldn't get a red w/nav until Dec, so I told them to keep my deposit and apply it to the first TL-S. They ordered my 2002 TL-S on Dec 21 and I will be getting in March. It seems as if all Acura dealers order once a month and my dealer was able to order just 6 TLs each month.I wonder if this is true for all dealers or is this based on past sales?

I put down $500 today for a dark green TL-S. I did try to figure out what they will be selling the car at and she stated MSRP...I hope that changes, although it can be hard since I obviously want it and they will be in limited availability. Who knows...I am hoping to at least get a good discount on a spoiler, underbody kit, and sway bars.
