[VTEC]TL

I talked to a guy and he said my tires would wear out in like 3 months if I got the H&R Race springs without camber kit. Is he just scaring me into buying a camber kit or is that a reasonable estimate for tire wear. How are your guys with H&R/Comptech/Eibach/Neuspeed/Etc. springs tires holding up??? Thanks

I have two customers whose cars are lowered at a guess about 1.75 to 2.00 inches both cars have a healthy appetite for tires.If you have access to camber correction kits and plan on lowering your car to this amount or more, definitely go with the correction kits.

So how long will it be till my tires wear out??? I just want a ballpark number. How long till they wear out at normal height, and how long till they wear out if dropped around 2"

My 97 Prelude was lowered about 1.5". A couple weeks after the install, I immediately noticed uneven tire wear. I didn't put on the camber kit simply because they were not available at the time. I was rolling on my stock rims/tires. They lasted about 1 year, I think. But that's with stock tires. With high perf tires and 2+ drop, I would expect the tires to wear out a lot faster. Be prepared to spend money on replacement tires. IMHO, you should get the camber kit and save yourself from future troubles.

Tim has the rear camber kits but where can I find front camber kits for the TL??? Also, is the price tim has for the kit for both rear wheels or just one???
