How much should I be paying for comptech spring instal. What I mean is only labor not the springs.

I was at Scottsdale Acura and they quoted me $600 I said no way to the service guy and left.

What is a decent price to be paying on this type of instel?

Well, I'm in Northern Cali and my springs install was about $175.00 w/o a 4-wheel alignment. My dealer wanted $400.00 for install + alignment! :wow: So I checked around and found a good performance shop to do the install.

The cost to get my H&R SPort springs installed was $100. Springs are springs... it's the same process. Call around. Ask your friends, or ask people you see with their car lowered. There's a good FAQ on how to install them yourself. Check it out, that way you know what they will have to do.

YES. You should definately call around local Mechanic shops. Taking your car to the dealer for spring installation is not worth of money!!

 

Piss on them is right. You got another dealership in town to go to? I didn't even pay that much including the spring purchase from my dealership.

 

OMG!!!??!! 600 bucks..no way man..just look around town for other reputable shops..i paid $100 for the install.
