i got mine(99 tl) last year for 1,500 cash from a co-worker
clean title..around 183,000 miles...good cond inside and out..

he thought the trans was on last leg...but after a litttle love she is still running strong..

so far i've spent $3500 on the tranny, and will be spending ~$800 on a new head unit and timing belt/water pump.. aghhh

$20k back in '04or'05 or some shit (had like 30k miles on it). spent way too much on it since. then again, it'd be like that for any car ... for typical maintenance/tires etc. cars are sucha money pit to keep them running long term

bought my 02 type S in march of '07 with 57K on it for 13G. Had the factory lip kit, tein coilovers and tint already installed. Pretty good deal i think

why did you change over to DC headers?

i had fitment issues from the start. had to really force things together and i guess that eventually lead to one of the primaries cracking a little. also they didn't lay flat againt the engine block and there was a small hole in one of the primaries. most people have good things to say about xs but mine sucked. dc's were a pain to get installed but fit/sound/look great

2003 Tl - S Purchased May of 2010, $11,500 Canadian, 38,000 Miles, Mint interior, 1 small ding in the exterior. OEM Lip kit, CAI, 20" wheels and rubber, looks like a lowering kit but I have yet to determine, HID Low beams and Fogs. Possibly other mod's i'm yet unaware of. No additional cash spent besides the safety inspection. 5k Budget for mods over the next 2 years. First step is sway bars and strut bars, blue LED interior, Full exhaust headers-mufflers, so on and so forth until the money runs out.

My dad bought it brand new in March '00 (30k I think) It's changed hands in the family numerous times. Now its finally onto me. It's in pretty crappy condition :-(

So i Paid $0 for the car and $10 for tailight black.

Buying a pair of black multispoke Einke rims (nothing special but they do look nice) and FF1 to drop it a few inches.

The body shop quoted me 2.5k to repair the bumpers and the dent and paint it back to factory conditions.

If I can find a OEM lip kit I'll get it, if not i'll be content with the drop.

So in the end I'll have put about 4k into it. not bad in my estimation

Paid 1100 for my 99 w/243xxx miles on it. Spent another 3500 just to get it to good condition. That's not counting the timing belt job I'm about to do

I just bought my 01 TL 2 weeks ago 168k miles. I paid 2,500 for it with tranny problems but, it drives good some days and slips & jerks others. I think it needs a new trans or a screen cleaning. I haven't put any money into it yet but, i will some have to spend alot in it.

6,000 2008 118,000k with 3x3 headunit pioneer, slotted rotors, lightweight pulley, already wired for subs, engine bar? wutever u call it. new motor mounts rebuilt tranny at 109,000, custom tsuedo exhaust, custom tweeters, all around tint, had to take off front tint cuz naperville is gay and then weeks later they legalize it. injen cold air intake.
