I got close to 460 miles before I filled up. I think I could of pulled 480 or even 500 before the light came on. This was from Toronto to NYC doing about 75-85 all the way.

GGGJJJJWHAAAAT?!?!?!how do you all get this big numbers??? all highway miles?

duds, i average from 19-20mpg (i calc mileage of EVERY TANK since 01/02, but i dont average mileages, this is what i usually get...i've done 14mpg a buncha times!!) the most i can get out of a 13gallon fillup is about 250mi... and when i push it at a 15.1+gallon fillup, i barely make it to 300... only ONE time i drove up to Orlando,FL i got 27mpg, driving at 95+mph all the way... but after i got off the highway i couldnt reach the 350mi mark!!!

i'd like to know what do you do to your cars to get 430mi out of a tank? you'd save me a lota money.
i use 93octane on my '99.

I usually get 19/20mpg with regular driving (80cty/20hwy). Best I've gotten to date was 27mpg all hwy. Oh, so somewhere between 230 and 260 miles per tank (13.5 gallons) when the light comes on.

So I think 280m per tank in the city is not so bad...

A mileage reading includes many factors such as hills/road conditions/# of passengers/etc.

on highway, there isn't much work to do for our 3.2 liter engines. Its fuel efficiency jumps into a completely different state, like a typical 4 cylinder engine! Just be happy that you don't have an 8 cylinder!

great numbers!

230 for city traffic sure, but like I stated I got 430 with 80% of hwy driving, there is a huge difference esp. our cars. When I home I'll be lucky if I get 250 on a full tank. Hwy driving with cruise control doesn't eat up much gas. If you ever take a long trip in your car you'll see. Other factors could be a/c, windows down, grade of gas.

~410 miles with an average speed of ~90-100 mph, all highway.

~200-250 miles for city driving

Thumbs up

I ran from Chicago to New York in 12.5 hours running 75-80 MPH for a total of 940 miles stopping only once for gas. I got about 33 MPG.
