I bought my '01 TL on March 1, 2001. I still haven't received my Cali plates. I don't remember it ever taking more than 4 weeks to get my plates for any of my other cars. How long has it taken you guys to get your Cali plates?

Non-Cali owners need not reply that they are still waiting for theirs.

 

Salesperson at the dealership told me that the DMV was overloaded and it very possibly could take "at least six to eight weeks, perhaps as long as 90 days."

I got my TL-S on March 17 and still don't have plates. My co-worker got a car beginning of Feb and still doesn't have plates...

 

It all depends on when your dealer turns in the info to the DMV. When we bought our CL last July, it was late september before we had them. But my brother, who bought his accord in early september had his about a week later. Found out that the dealer didnt submit the plate request to the DMV until sept 1.

I think the dealers have like 60 days or something to submit them? just a guess on that one...

 

Yes, dealer had 60 days to turn in the sales info. to DMV.

Wow, I was just wondering when I was going to get my plates. I bought on 3-27, but I guess a lot of people who got theirs before me still don't have their plates. Well, if you live in CA, you know how pathetic our DMV is!
