How long do the OEM HIDs last for???

hey guys,

How long do the OEM HIDs last for? My OEMs seems to be getting dimmer than when i first got the car. Has anyone experienced the same problem??
Or maybe they just seem dimmer to me b/c i've gotten used to the brightness?

Maybe I should consider getting the 6000k HID bulbs. :p

Well I drive with mine on day & night since the U.S. made TL dose not come with standard DRLs. I have done this for the last 3yrs since day one of getting my 2000TL. I only have slightly over 32,000 miles now. The lights still remain bright as always.

The TL-S was my first car with HID's. The evening after I picked up the car, I went for a cruise and the HID's reflected blue off of all the snow. I almost came in my pants.

3,000 hours is 125 days. That's it??

No holding your breath-they are supposed to last for 10-12 years of normal use. Remember, there is no filament to burn out.

They can go out....just not that often though. Pretty damn expensive to replace to. Well, compared to costs for halogen bulb replacement.
