how to find out if i can hook up an auxillary input

I have a 2001 Acura TL base model, i was just wondering if there is a way to find out (other than pulling out the head unit) if i can hook up an auxillary input. i have been doing some research and it seems that some cars have the cd changer plug and some dont. i was just wondering if there is a certain number in my vin or if there is a way to search to find out if my car has it before taking it apart. Now that im typing this i remember reading somewhere that only the non navi cars have this option and i do not have navi so does that mean im good? i dont have any cd changer specific buttons on my head unit which is why i am confused. any input would be greatly appreciated. also i have been using a tape adapter and it seems to be getting some interferance if i could just solve that then i wouldnt even need the aux in.

Removing the head unit isn't hard just time consuming... Any way you could technically just remove the 2 covers on the sides and try to locate by hand the input.
I didn't know some specific models came with the input (News to me) at least my TL-S did.
