Performance=8 (love it's pep and quiet performance)
Handling=9 (i am use to suvs so maybe 9 is a bit high)
Comfort=8 (something about the way the ac blows aggrevates me. seems it is alwways blowing right on me if the vents are open in the drivers seat)
Looks=8 (stock. with the oem kit and some rims it is at least a 9 in my book)
Sound (radio)=8 (the stereo is awesome but to be honest my grand cherokee limited has an awesome factory setup too so it wasn't as amazing as it could have been)
Modability (if That Makes Sense)=9
Overall=8.34

Performance - 9.5 ( a little more off the line torque would make this a 10 )
Handling - 9.5 ( RWD or AWD would make this a 10 )
Comfort - 10 ( I would not change a thing )

performance - 9(headers, K&N filter, iridium plugs)
Handling - 8 (good normal driving, sharp curves are okay, body lean noticeable=stock)
comfort - 8.5
looks - 10 (much better looking than 04+ TL)
radio - 6(Blose sucks, 8 with my 2 12" Orion DVC's)
Modability - 9(takes well to mods, need more of them though)

radio - 7, nice stock base, but cant play burned CDs
Modability - 8 lots of nice parts but pretty pricey
overal i love my car alot, its just so pimp, but the tranny issue really kills it for me.....if there were no tranny issues this car would be a 10+

sounds like a dealer issue, not a acura issue, ive had TOP notch service from acura (in particular my dealer)

I love the car. Mine is still stock (for now) and I still love it. I give it a 9 overall. I give the interior a 10...I Fcuking love the inside of the TL.....The only beef I have is some of the annoying rattles, but every weekend I combat at least one....

Handling=6 - Needs a lbit more handling, but still comfortable
Comfort=8 - Seats are great and typical great Honda/Acura interior
Looks=9 - Not a better looking sports sedan on the raod imo

This is my first entry-level luxury car, so take it for what it's worth.
Performance=9, I suppose there is no 10 in a car of this class, but it's way better than anything I've ever driven before. No tranny symptoms so far.
Handling=9, I don't drive aggressively, so it does everything I need it to do. My wife's car is a 2003 Taurus with the 24 valve DOHC motor and similar appointments, and I notice that the steering is much heavier in the TL. If I was a small/short woman, I suspect that I would find the TL difficult to drive. However, that doesn't seem to stop her from taking it away from me whenever she can.
Comfort=8.5, seat bolsters and lumbar support are perfect for my back and girth, but the tilt wheel seems to be almost useless. Getting in and out of the car is more difficult than is should be, and I think it's a little short on headroom (I'm 6' 2", so shorter drivers probably don't feel the same way).
Looks=10, I like them better than the new ones. Just an opinion.

Performance is a 10, lots of power when I have mom, realtives or friends in the car I boot it and say warp speed scotty
Handling is a 9 , good handling but the tires need improvement
Comfort is a 10, I am 6-4 lots of room , and is easy for my disabled mom to get in, and out of
Looks again a 10, reminiscent of a Ferrari GTO with the 17 inch wheels and dual exhausts.
Overall a 9 , some things do detract, the use of premium fuel, Transmission fears, Expensive tires. On the plus, this is the easiest car to change the oil , and filter on. I am very lucky dealerwise , Motorcars Acura in Bedford Hts. has been very good to me. Like the color (agean Blue) but has a tendancy to fade a bit. Would I buy another, yes hopefully the RL when I win the lotto. LOL

Ofcourse this is all because my friends have M3 and 545i...and since I get to drive their cars all the time, I don't feel like my car gets a 10 on performance and handeling.

Oh yea,
I noticed that too a month after I purchased mine, I tried to play some burned CDs and it just rejected them, so I guess I have to drop my overall point system to
8.1 ....

what do u mean...i have an 02 TL and can't play a burned track on a TDK RW CD. It just doesn't get any more standard than a TDK? What burner program do u use?

in a perfect world my car is AWD and it didnt have a faulty tranny, BETTER YET if it had a MT then i would rate my car as a 9. something or even a 10!!! but, we live in a world FAR FAR FAR From perfect so ill rate my caah DA WAAAY ieet izzzz

Edit: You may want to try a CD-R instead of a CD-RW.
