How do you take the rear door panel off?

Please HELP! i've searched and couldn't find anything on the rear door.

My rear /driver side door was slammed and will not open from the outside.
It used to open from the inside handle until i activated the child lock (cuz of kids)
totally forgetting it was my only option in opening the door.

Here comes the questions....
1. is there anyway i can cheat/pick at and undo the child lock without taking off the door panel?
2. if not, does anyone of a DIY link or know how to take the rear door panel off?
and would the removal be possible with the door closed shut?

i have no idea how many screws there are to remove and where to locate them,
my fears are that they are on the side of the door where the lock is.
3. reading up on the front door panels, there were warnings on loosening or pulling out wires.
are there any similar wires in the rear door to worry about?
4. finally, lets say the removal is possible. is it necessary to remove the rear passenger seat?
as it may make my task more accessable

Thanks in advance for the HELP!

i'm slowly answering my own questions here ... hehe
i found this in the audio sect. and have tried it.

6. Removing door covers

All doors are pretty much the same, except the driver's door has more wire harnesses to
unplug.

Start by removing the big screw in the armrest, then the little screw behind a little round
cover behind the inside door release. slide the door release mechanism back about 3/8"
and pull out. There's a little plastic catch on the metal bar--unhook it and remove the
assembly.

The door cover is held on by plastic friction clips. They're pretty forgiving of being pulled
up without the proper tool. (Buy the tool though--it'll come in handy).

Remove the sail panels (black triangular plastic at front of front door windows) before
pulling up the front door covers. The sail panels pull out from the back (towards rear of
car), then slide back to free the front corner.

That's it--just unfasten the harnesses/lights and it's out.
its hard enough as it is to remove the door that's working?
does anyone have any input if it'll work with the one that doesn't?
any other tools i can use in place of that panel removal tool?

thanks again in advance for any advise or replies.

Use a hard piece of plastic. Anything that won't scrape the paint. Door cover somes off really easily. 6 pop-plugs and 2 screws.

its just like the instructions you posted state. (the only wire is for the window and you have a few inches, nothing to worry about )just undo the screw behind the door handle, undo the screw in the arm rest. the rest of the door panel is held on by clips. here is the problem i see. the door panel when closed look like it gets pinched between the rubber door seal, and thats not good, cause you need to pull out wards first to loosen all the lower clips before you can lift up on it. id recomend trying to loosen the screws and try playing with it to see if you can get it to budge.

other wise use the other door to see if you can make something to get to the switch from the outside????

TaDa ... Mission accomplished

After bending some metal and creating tons of scratches, the door's opened and fixed.

as you said, it was pinched so i pulled off the rubber door seal and stabbed a long enough flat head in between the the metal (metal that seal grabs onto) and the door panel and played around at the child lock for about 15 mins.
my door failure was from the outer handle being pulled up too hard which snapped the bracket that activates the opener.
acura parts dept. wanted $84 canadian for the whole handle assembly in my color but would've taken a day to deliv. so i settled with lots of crazy glue and 1 hr of holding that little piece in place till it dried.
surely a ghetto temp. fix but at least it now works from both sides!

Thanks again for the help guys!

BTW do i need to replace that plastic wrap which was melted to the door? some of it stuck back on, but is it important for it to be sealed as it orig. was?
