How do you remove & install the side mirrors?
My passenger side mirror is cracked. I bought the glass to replace the cracked one but I don't know how to remove it and put the new one on. Can someone tell me how to install the new side mirror?

Thanks Pure Adrenaline, but that doesn't tell me how to take out the glass and install the new glass. Does anyone know how to remove the glass itself and install a new replacement glass?

Was it hard to get the piece back into the housing? How long did it take?

From the HELM manual, page 20-26:
1. Pry the mirror holder out from the bottom until you can see the pivot (dead center) of the actuator, then detach the pivot using a flat-tip screwdriver. Take care not to scratch the mirror.
2. Remove the actuator shafts and release the hooks from the actuator, then remove the mirror holder. Disconnect the mirror defogger terminals.
3. Remote the actuator shafts and rubber boots from the old mirror holder. Check the actuator shaft and rubber boots for damage or deterioration, and replace them if necessary.
4. Install the holder in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
-Before installing the mirror holder, install the actuator shafts and boots on the mirror holder.
-Make sure the mirror defogger terminals are plugged in properly.
-Apply the grease to the pivot and actuator shafts.
-Reattach the mirror holder to the pivot and actuator shafts to the actuator, then carefully push on the pivot and actuator shaft portions of the holder until it locks into place.
-Make sure the actuator shaft boots are installed into the actuator. If necessary, use a small screw driver to reinstall them.
-Check the operation of the actuator.
It will require some force but it does just pop out. Wrap the screwdriver in a cloth to avoid scratching anything.
