How do I up the ponies(HP)?
Hi All,
I've been noticing on ebay a modification that they supposedly sell (seems to instructions of some sort) that allows 20+ hp increase without any major changes to the car. Something about an intake senor modification? Does anyone know anything about this and for those who had done this to their car.. any feedback on this? Any thoughts, suggestions would be appreciated.

Sounds like the tornado and it's crap.
A great resource is the Tuner Section at acura-cl.com. Since the CL and TL are basically the same car... the mods are the same... check it out!! http://www.acura-cl.com/tunersguide/

Don't know if this is what they're talking about on eBay, but you can optionally removed the Resonator in your car which is used to lower the sound of the car's stock intake. Removing it gives better airflow into your car and can give you a few extra hp (maybe 5hp or so). Since you're removing and not adding, its a free mod! Try searching this forum and acura-cl.com for instructions on removing the resonator.

That is what all the RICERS believe. The louder the car the faster it is. HAHA!!! That is to funny. That chip on eBay all it does it tricks your computer to think that its always cold outside, so it compensates but allowing more air to enter your engine. All it will do is f*** up your gas to air ratio during the summer and causes engine problems down the road. Don't do it.
