I have a 2000 3.2TL. I had a 6-Disc Changer mounted but at the ceiling of the trunk. I notice that my music skips a lot due to the bass comming from the speakers... I want to see if I could mount it on the floor of the trunk to the side...i saw cut outs and wanna know if that's what it's for....I remember seeing some kinda diagram on this before. If anyone has any input on how to do this that would be greatly appreciated.

 

 

I mounted mine under the passenger seat with double sided velcro. That is what I would recommend to you. Keeps all the cables on the same side as well as giving you easy access from the driving position to the changer. Go for it.

I used to have mine mounted standing upright in the plastic tray to the left of the trunk.
