How can I get rid of a low idle?
My car usually always idles low when I start a warm engine. It usually idles at 500 or so and shakes until I give it a little gas or turn the steering wheel. it then moves up to about 800 and stops shaking a little. Today however, the rpms were very very low. Twice when I started my car, the rpm needle was between the 0 and the first line. I guess thats about 300 or so. The car felt like it was going to stall hardcore! i just let it do what it had to do and it stayed there for about a minute before I just gave it a little gas. Its so annoying. What can I do? Everytime, I take it to the dealer, its fine so basically, I want to try to figure out what it could be. Damn I cant believe my car is such crap. I hate to post subjects like this one but its very frustrating...

One of two things, or both...fuel and spark. Check them out and make sure everything is tight. How many miles? Like they said, could be time for a tune-up. You can always go to the throttle body and adjust the idle there...but I would check everything else first.

You may want to try to "retrain" the car. Not sure if it works with Acuras but I know with GMs the car will lose its mind if you disconnect the battery.
Disconnect the battery. Leave it off for about 30 mins. Reconnect it. Start it up. The car will have to relearn how to idle. It may not even idle at all the first few times you start it. It should eventually get straigtened out if you leave it idle for 5 mins.
Once again, not sure if that works with Acuras.
