i'm just taking a guess.
there should be knobs behind the headlights that allow you to adjust the level.
just park your car in front of your garage or a wall.

Happened to me. Open the hood and look at the housing. You will see a place to insert a screwdriver in two places to adjust height & angle.

I still have this problem with my 96 I know where the screw is and but I turn it nothing happens. I tried the other side also, same thing. I'll give it another try this weekend. Anyone do this successfully on a 1st Gen TL?

Hey MikeS or anyone else who knows,
Do you know which hole adjusts which angle? The harder one: turning the screw driver counter clockwise turns the headlights in which direction?

If I recall correctly, they are marked. It is elusive the dealer showed me. I just lined up the car in my garage and adjusted it till it looked equal.
