what are the basic mods that one does to increase overall performance and horsepower? intake, headers, exhaust, plugs, wheels, NOS, springs/shockks/struts/sways, ... anything else?

forced intake...tubos...ported engine(not too basic)...lower tie bars...tires...new catalytic converter...brakes i guess...that's off the top of my head.
And of course, the 25hp "powered by (something)" rice sticker

You can upgrade the driver and take a performance driving class.

Or you can get a Type-S badge from one of the TL-S guys who have debadged their trunk

Looks like you covered most of it anyway, if you get done with that and you are still not happy, time to buy a new car.

I know nothing about them, but pulley's are supposed to be like 6 or7 HP. I hear they may cause more problems that they're worth. Ask Ed. (Shoofin') he knows a lot more about them.

Lose some weight(the driver, if your fat. ). Get better gripping tires, even though you already mentioned wheels, lighter wheels, I'm guessing.

Man, they've got everything already.

I have also heard that dropping a Ferrari Mondial engine under the hood can yield some definite horsepower improvements.
