horn, trans, cruise control

I have tried searching haven't gotten anywhere so hopefully you gods can help me out.
So driving home one night car is working perfect no issues whatsoever. I Drop my brother off at his house and go inside to use the bathroom without turning the car off. Come out to go home and transmission won't come out of park without sticking flat head into trans lock bypass. Also the horn and cruise control stopped working at the same time. No check engine lights or anything. Checked fuses and all seem to be fine. Have not put a test light on them as of yet though. Could it be the horn relay and everything is linked from that or .........

any help or point in the right direction would be awesome.

Do your brake lights work when you press the brake pedal ?
Fuse 47 under the hood might be blown check it its a 20 amp fuse
Looks like its all related to that fuse.

Yeah, as ErickUa5 previously suggested....check the shift interlock system out.
Could be a problem with the brake switch at the pedal or the shift lock solenoid in the console.
If both of those are ok, then maybe something with the multiplex controls ? Check the easy stuff first !

47 it was. I just checked it right now. I checked brake lights and they were not working. When looking at the fuse it did not look blown but when I pulled it and swapped in a new one they started working and shift lock started working. I will check cruise and horn later on. Thank you so much

Ya may want to double check everything on that circuit, just to be sure.

^ yep something caused the fuse to blow.
If it goes out again try to remember the last thing you did that caused it to blow the fuse.
