Hood latch...

Hood latch...

So I was driving and I heard some clicking noises from the front of my hood, so when I got home I pulled my hood latch thing, and it totally just release. So I know some cables in the front disconnected, but I can't open the hood whatsoever, what shall I do...

Are u kidding? Is there a way to take off the grille from the outside? Lol I was plannin on seafoaming...

seafoam can still be done thru the gas tank, 1 can to just under half a tank

with the car on ramps go from underneath -remove panel and access latch

I was just kidding and didnt feel like putting it in red LOL do what Tom said car on ramps and go from underneath

Oh nvm, the whollleee latch broke, idk how... but ima have to get another one 70- 80 bucks? i tried opening it again and the whole latch just collapsed... so im pretty much driving without a latch. does this mean i shouldnt being doing high speeds?

Well if it snaps open while your doing 75mph, it might break off.

Well im in high school and i dont do alot of free way, but i will when im going to get this fixed. i guess just zip tie or tie down the latch part to the frame?
