there is a small gap on only one side of the hood for some reason. when i push it down it just pops back up. does anyone know why?

 

there are rubber pads that are adjustable Lower the one on that side and see if it changes.

 

 

nope, even after removing the two rubber things theres still a large gap.

it goes down when i push on the hood but feels like there's something rubbery pushing it back up..

and it's been like this since i got the car

 

are your hood dampers obstructed and cant compress all the way?

 

i have somethign similar going on with one side of my trunk

 

don't think so, seems like the obstruction is in the front of the hod

Same Here, It bugs me everytime i look at it.

 

Something is causing it to sit like that. Look to see if there is ANY thing holding it up slightly. Maybe the other side is lower than it should be?

 

it is on your drivers side? mine is the back of the trunk corner by the window
