but your last post only justifies what we have all been saying..
its what you like...so why care what badge any of these people have on their cars...
opinions are what build a community..
asking what the point of something you clearly dont like to begin with isnt an opinion at all.. its means to start a war.
saying "not a big fan of rebadging" is still unnecessary but its not destructive...
asking somebody why they like something is pointless.. we have our own reasons for what we like. and thats the only reason we do anything to the car.
vvvv WTF! lol vvvvv @ineedmy

yeah...because my life involves reading every post on a thread before posting...

um...not to make this thread any longer..but, the dude to ask a simple question about a badge. asking him whats the point is basically bringing his confidence down. the dude just wants to make his car unique, let him be unique without adding a comment that will make him feel bad about doing it.

^^this,
but on another note just look at the bottom right portion of every window on your TL what does it say? Honda. Hell, open up your engine and check what is carved on it... Honda, and the list goes on, and on. All I have to say is Real Recognize Real
Not that I'm taking it personal but don't generalize, who are you to judge what other people do regardless their age, just because you think or believe in what you say.

wilp99,
Look at the ages of the people ragging on you for your comment. Then look at the ages of the people who agree with you or don't care one way or the other.
I don't mean anything bad about this, but I think the rebadging desire is mostly an age thing. The young people (kids) on this board are absolutely desperate to do anything and everything to their car to make it different from the next TL they see. They see the JDM thing as being cool and different. That's youth, we all probably had the same basic desires for our cars when we were that age.
Once you get past 30, you probably don't care what your car says on it enough to change it, or you think it's down right silly. I'm older, I'm an American, and I would rather my car say Acura on it rather than Honda or the other names, because I like the Acura name better and think it looksbetter also. Also, here in the US, the Acura name carries more prestige than Honda or the others because that is the way they are marketed.
There, now they can hate on me...

2006 NBP TL MT6/ 02TL-S
Not to generalize, but the reading comprehension of some people on this board is about second grade level. Saying I personally don't care about it is not judging anybody else who does.
Who are YOU to judge people who think rebadging is silly?

^^then i'd have to say I disagree with your explanation
