THe manual says you have to use genuine honda coolant to fill up the reservior, do all you guys do so?

ANd where to get Honda coolant, I mean, other than in dealers'.

I do not do work on my car myself but being a HONDA car owner for over 22yrs I have a some since of what they need. I always go to the dealer or some other places that are experts in Honda cars. You should use the genuine coolant that is correct for your car & not some other auto store brands like DEX COOL. The Honda coolant is just like some other genuine fluids they say to use in HONDA cars. This would be like the Trans fluid & Power Sterring fluid. I am not sure if some auto stores carry the coolant for HONDA cars. In your area it should be easy just to go into the HONDA or ACURA dealer & buy some at the parts counter.

What ever you do don`t mix the colors. It`s either orange or green, not both! Take time to ask!

Used honda coolant. They have a new formula...its called "Type 2"...very imaginative. But you can get it at the parts counter at any honda/acura dealership. Its the same for stuff for honda and acura...I picked up a 1 gallon bottle, for something like 11 dollars at the dealership. Just pour it in, no mixing (its premixed.) And its green.
