Honda Emblem on Steering Wheel

Hello, I have been searching around the forum but couldn't find the answer. I am going to do the jdm conversion with my 02 TL-S soon. I have most of the parts I need now, except for a Honda emblem on the steering wheel. I mean, do I get a emblem to replace the "A" on the steering wheel, or do I have to get a totally different steering wheel (ie, a Honda Inspire steering wheel from Japan)? It's just that the car might look funny if I have everything in Honda, except the steering wheel. Any input would help, thanks in advance!

If you have the embedded logo, you need to get a new wheel. If you have the one that sticks out, you might be able to find a Honda logo.

may be the pic will help? how do I take it out (I know it's a dumb question but I'm a newbie...)? and is it gonna be hard to put it back on? or is it possible to just cover it with a new logo?

Yea, I have the different wheel, so I don't know how to take that off. If you can find a Honda emblem that shape and size, go for it.

You might have to change the air bag. The one off the 98-02 Accord can work. If you need one let me know.

getting the airbag is the real way to do it, not just sticking an emblem over it

dont bother changing it...some people in japan put Acura on their Hondas. Moreover, a friend from japan brought a skyline and put infiniti emblems and g35 all over his car.

grass is always greener on the other side.

changing out the airbag isn't too hard, just be sure to disconnect the battery before messing with the srs system. People steal them out of cars sometimes and it's nice to hear when one of them gets injured by the airbag.

Just do a measurement ... and then put a sticker on it. I am too lazy to do that (since I did the exterior conversion). There's also the emblem by the stereo ... there's a piece that can be ordered from the Honda catalog (too hardcore, IMHO). Some people will fabricate a custom piece for an aftermarket head unit and not have to order that part.

lol, that's what I was thinking about too, put a sticker on it. I am not too worried about the emblem by the stereo though since it's pretty small. It's just that the one on the steering wheel is pretty noticable.

well the only problem with the car being under my name is the increase of insurance premium....I don't know about the States, but here in BC, Canada, for every single year of driving experience, you will get a 5% reduction, for a maximum of 43%. In other words, my dad only pays 57% for the insurance, while me, with only 5 years of experience, could only get 20% reduction....

The one by the stereo, if you are really nit-picky, you can get some paint thinner or a razorblade to remove it ... I wouldn't imagine it would be hard to remove.
