Homelink Universal Transceiver Issue

Tonight, I tried to program the system to accept another remote for the garage @ my new place but I couldn't program it. I have one (middle) button already programmed but the other two wouldn't accept it at all. Is there a reason why? I went through all the steps. I turned off the electricity in the garage though the breaker box. I held the remote close to the red light and while pressing both button (garage one & homelink one).

Any help would be appreciated.

When I did mine I pressed the button on the garage unit while the car was parked in the garage then while it was blinking I pressed the homelink button and the remote for my garage all together.

the remote that came with the opener will usually stop sending a signal so the trick is to press-and-let-go, PNLG, PNLG, etc until the homelink button changes/flashes (green?)...all the while, keep the homelink button depressed. if the opener is rolling code, finish up by pressing the learn button on the opener and then the same homelink button within 30 seconds. otherwise, clear all the buttons...program this difficult opener one first...then redo the middle button.
